JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for creating and maintaining costing workbooks across all divisions to
include international and domestic pricing. The employee will work with the Accounting Team to meet
weekly reporting requirements and will assist with inventory entries and adjustments, General Ledger
analysis and reconciliations. The Costing/Accounting Assistant is cross‐trained and acts as back‐up on
AR/AP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Create and maintain costing workbooks for all new products to include working with the quality
department to obtain timing for each process
Complete, monitor and make all changes to waste monthly graphs and journal entries
Cross trained in reports/processes within the entire accounting department
Prepare various reports weekly and/or monthly for timely distribution to various departments
and individuals.
Review and approve AP invoices prepared for AP processing
Assist with inventory control systems, inventory costing, adjustments, reconciliations and
analysis
Assists with the month‐end and year‐end closing and annual year‐end financial review
Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to the subsidiary
ledgers for domestic companies as determined by the Controller
Manage and maintain various schedules relative to specific G/L accounts to accomplish the
accurate financial reporting
Mandatory participation in annual inventory
Other duties and projects as assigned

Vision requirements include reading written documents and using a computer monitor screen
frequently.
The position is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, touch, see, and hear, and may
