Manage accounting operations, accounting close, account reporting and reconciliations. Perform debit, credit and total accounts on computer spreadsheets/databases, and use specialized accounting software included but not limited to QuickBooks and ProSystems programs. Receive recorded and banked cash and checks as well as reconciled records of bank transactions. Complete monthly, quarterly and annual bank reconciliations for small business clients. Review client entries in QuickBooks to ensure accuracy of the G/L.
Research using PPC for tax matters related to clients. Reconcile bank statements to client’s books and prepared financial statements from client documents. Prepare interim and annual financial statements and retained work papers in paperless engagement program. Prepare annual tax returns for estates, trusts, corporation, S-corps, partnerships and non-profits. Prepare estate Forms 706 and handled administration of estates and trusts. Prepare payroll for various clients. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual payroll tax form including W-2’s and 1099’s.
