Senior Accountant

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will perform professional accounting functions for Our Client’s profit centers. The teammate will provide reporting and analysis to internal and external customers, including,
but not limited to, Accounting Operations Leader and Senior Finance & Operations Leader.

Essential Job Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate profit center accounting procedures for multiple profit centers for Our Client to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance to Accounting guidelines.
Maintain and review general ledger activities for Our Client’s profit centers.
Assist in preparation and review of monthly financial statements with the Accounting Operations Leader.
Perform all functions related to Accounts Payable, including, payment of vendor invoices, payments to brokers, and payments to insurance carriers.
Preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of bank accounts for Our Client, including completion of internal control self-assessments.
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education and/or Experience)
College degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
Computer literacy required, including proficiency in MS office suite products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Self-Motivated and a “Can Do” attitude
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
